Northeast Technical Institute is a private career school with multiple campuses throughout Maine. The programs include healthcare, information technology, truck driving and HVAC/R. Students can earn a national certification and a career diploma in about six months. It only takes a few weeks to receive a CDL License for Truck Driving or a certification in phlebotomy. Financial Aid, Grants, and GI Bill Veteran Benefits are available. Job placement assistance is offered to help assist students in finding jobs, interview tips or filling out applications. Northeast Technical Institute does not promise or guarantee employment but will help assist all graduates in good standing for the life of the school at no extra charge.
NTI offers award winning, nationally renowned CDL truck driver training for Maine and New Hampshire residents. Train at one of our Maine locations in just 5 weeks full time or 10 weekends part time.
NTI’s CDL truck driver training school is designed to teach students safe operation of trucks and a working knowledge of the trucking industry and its regulations. This real world CDL training consists of behind-the-wheel practice at our driver training yard as well as driving in all country and city environments.
NTI provides job placement assistance to every student while enrolled in school, as well as after graduation. We have developed an online job board so students can locate a job, and to take advantage of NTI's network of hundreds of high quality local, regional and national employers that hire NTI graduates. No school can guarantee a student a job, but we will guarantee that our best efforts to prepare and assist you. And we are proud of our placement success.
A Certificate of Completion from NTI gives you the credentials required by so many trucking employers. It tells the employer that you’ve been trained to the highest standards for entry level drivers. Few carriers will hire you without these credentials, even if you are licensed. Our experienced job placement staff will assist you in evaluating employers, developing interviewing skills, completing job applications and making contact with your companies of choice.
